On the way

The day has finally come!  Waiting for this day has been a little emotional to say the least but I am so happy to be starting this trip. I went from excitement to scared to nervous to almost not wanting to go and back to excitement and now it's here.  

I just wanted to add a quick post to say I made it to the airport, thank you Angel and Dave for driving me to Detroit!!!!  

I can't wait to be in the sun however I do not think I am looking forward to carrying a backpack around with me for 5 weeks. It's all part of the adventure and I am sure I will get used to it. :).
