I made it

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas everyone and let you know I made it safely to Panama.  I am all checked into my hotel until Dec 26 after which the backpacking begins.  

It's a great hotel which I got throught work for only $42.90 because of I work at a hotel.  They also let me check in at 3:30am and didn't charge me an extra night.  Makes up for losing that $100.00 gift card in Miami.  

Just wanted to let everyone I am safe and can't wait to start sharing my adventure with you.  

I was given a warm cookie when I arrived. :)
