Camp Supertramp

Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow... Anita Desai

I decided to stay one more night at in Samara and it was a good decision.

Today Willow, Dave and I went for a nice morning run.  I normally do not like running in the morning but it is a little safer and gave me a chance to run.  We ran down some dirt road to the ocean.  I ran along the water which was actually pretty nice.  I didn't run with my phone so I have no clue how long or short we went but I do know the to found my zone and forgot I was even running with anyone.  I actually left my group behind and just went , it was nice to find that zone after not running for so long.

After the run we went back to Camp Supertramp and had a shower and got ready to go to the beach.

The three of us walked to the beach and had a beach day.  We ran into a few people we had met at the party a few nights before and just relaxed. One of the girls played the ukulele, so we say around listening to her sing and I fell a sleep it was so relaxing.

After we had enough of the beach we went back to the hostel and showered and got ready to head out to see the sunset.  Some of us surfed and some of us just sat watching the sunset.
Watching the sunset is such a magically thing, I think I'm in love with watching it over the ocean.

We went back to the hostel after the sunset.  We had dinner and just relaxed.  We sat around talking to everyone.  One of my favourite parts of Camp Supertramp, is at night everyone makes their own dinners and ends the evening. Sitting around just talking.  You really get that feeling of being at home and around friends.  After a long day I went to bed and had a great sleep.

The next day, we went on a beautiful adventure, I didn't have my phone or gopro but I wish I did because the sight was priceless.  Pepe and Thomas took us to this spot and we climbed a lot of rocks and had an awesome view of the beauty that Costa Rica offers.  I wish I had pictures to share with you so you could see what I was able to see. Getting to this beach we had to hike through the jungle and climb stairs, Thomas's count there were 101 stairs.  We had to do these twice, once to get down to the beach and once to get back go to the road. With all the adventures I am having I do not really need to run because I am getting enough exercise exploring everything. We sent the day climbing rocks and went swimming.  I got to hold a starfish, which was pretty cool.  It was black and just moved along my hand.  A also saw little blue fish swimming along.  Seeing all this again made me wish I had something to capture the beauty for everyone else to see.  For me all the things I have saw are stored in my memory and heart and will stay there forever.

After our hike we went back to the hostel and had lunch.  I was planning on leaving so when everyone went down to the water to surf at sunset I headed to the bus stop, but not before getting one of Oscars wonderful fruit smoothies.

I ended up running into the same people we had meant at the party on the first night and one girl Tessa's who's birthday party we went to asked where I was going.  I told her and she had said she was going to the same town as I was headed to at 6:30 in the AM the next day and asked if I would join her on her taxi ride.  This meant I would be staying in Samara one more night.  It is funny because Pepe and Simon kept saying I was not going to be leaving and I guess they were right.

After some laughs, Willow, Dave and I went for dinner for the last thing where I got to catch the last part of a leafs game.  You can go anywhere in the world and catch a leafs game I guess.  The pub we went to however was full of Canadians and Americans with no locals.  The food was good even I had a veggie pita.

We walked home after dinner and talked about some of the food we miss from back home and about shows we watched as kids.

Again that evening we sat around talking with everyone before heading off to bed and saying some last good-byes again. I am truly going to miss Camp SuperTramp and everyone I met but I am talking so many memories with me.  I am also going to miss Willow and Dave most have all.  They have helped make my Costa Rica travels fun and adventurous.  I would not have done half the things I did here without them.

My time at Camp Supertramp has been amazing and sensational.  I truly feel like I'm at home here.  Everyone who stays here is so down to earth and welcoming.  The place has a relaxing and peaceful feeling that you don't want to leave.  I have been blessed this whole trip with everyone I have met and each person has left something with me that I will kept forever.

I am learning a lot about myself through the people I have had the pleasure of meeting.
